Swansea Coastgaurds Strike Again

11th April 2008

PCS pickets at Mumbles coastguard station near Swansea were involved in their second 24 hour strike over pay on Friday.

Yey again the strike was solid with just management crossing the picket line.

There has been 3 days of work to rule before the strike which had a big impact and the same strategy is being employed in the run up to their next strike on April 24th. The coastguards will join other civil service departments and teachers in a massive show of protest by these public sector workers against low pay, job losses and poor conditions.
